Berkshire Nursery,is a 40-acre nursery, garden center, and florist. It is a "Mom & Pop" business that has been growing nursery stock for 27 years at their main location in Patterson, NY.  They also have a 34 acre growing farm just 10 minutes away in Poughquag, NY.   Their roots go back even further to "The Grandpop" grafting trees in Italy. They have grown to have a love of plants, an appreciation of nature and a willingness to continue their training in horticulture.

"The Pop", Carmine Lopane, had furthered his education and holds a degree in horticulture. He is extremely knowledgeable in all species of plants, their requirements and all the proper procedure for planting. His 40 years of experience and creativity shines through in everything he does.

"The Mom", Nina Lopane, runs the business aspect - taking care of all the purchasing, customer service and managing the beautiful grounds. Her talents are obvious in all the seasonal displays and innovative ideas throughout the store.
